George T. Georges, MD is a licensed endocrinologist. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Georges went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital / Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Stamford, Connecticut, and a fellowship in diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri where he was chief endocrine fellow.
Dr. Georges is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Endocrine Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In his free time, he has volunteered at local free health clinics providing care to uninsured patients and he continues to serve as a deacon and youth instructor at his local church. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, and will often be seen holding a cup of fresh loose leaf oolong tea. He has participated in multiple research, abstract and poster presentations.
