Erin Nowlin, NP, earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining Sheltering Arms in 2010, she served as a Registered Nurse in the Neuroscience Unit at VCU Health System and as a Family Nurse Practitioner with The Little Clinic in Richmond, VA. She has also volunteered her time in a variety of clinical settings, including in the emergency room at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, VA. Erin holds her National Board Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
Nowlin currently sees patients at Sheltering Arms Hanover Rehabilitation Center and has particular expertise in orthopedic injury, trigger point injections and joint injections, arthritis, osteoporosis and inpatient rehabilitation follow-up.
