Emily has been practicing as a physical therapist in the Richmond area since 2011. She received her B.S. in Psychology in 2008 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to treating lymphedema patients full time, she gained experience treating patients in acute, outpatient, and home health settings as a float physical therapist. She received her Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certification (MLD) from the Norton School in 2012, Juzo Advanced Fitter Certification in 2013, and in 2018, she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through Klose Lymphedema Training.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys running and hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.
