Meet Dr. Diane Mrava

As a former U.S. Air Force officer and staff physician at Langley Air Force Base I was in private practice in the Hampton Rhoads area. I am board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I am a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s sexual health. As a native of Chesterfield, I was excited to return home to practice medicine.

She saved my life during an emergency surgery and the follow up care was excellent. She went above and beyond for her patient when staying late to make sure I received the proper post op instructions. During the post op follow up visit she spent time explaining my health condition and answered both mine and my family's questions. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Mrava as a healthcare provider.
	June 2023 I truly don't know how I came across such an awesome Doctor. When I left I told a friend that I feel so seen by my doc, and it's true. She listens, educates, and validates your thoughts and concerns. It's not everyday that you find someone who truly cares but Dr Mrava is one of the rare gems. She doesn't rush, she takes her time, and she brainstorms ways to really make life doable. She also listened to me upon first meeting me. I had issues with my periods for 4 years and every doctor pushed my concerns aside and just offered BC. Dr Mrava took me seriously. She looked. She ran tests. She was the first person to offer me an ultrasound. She found the problem that had probably been festering for years. I'll never have any complaints about her.
