Dr. Kingston, originally from Long Island New York, has been with Tidewater Ortho since 2003. A proud former member of the United States Air Force, Dr. Kingston was a flight surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon during operation Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. During his years in the military, Dr. Kingston attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD and residency at the Uniformed Services Health Consortium in San Antonio, TX. Prior to joining the military, Dr. Kingston earned his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Albany. While in medical school and in the USAF, Dr. Kingston played rugby and was selected for Top Knife Surgeon Schools I and II.Dr. Kingston, his wife and two kids reside in Yorktown. In Dr. Kingston’s spare time, he enjoys involvement with his children’s extracurricular activities and interest in all sports particularly wrestling, golf, rugby, football, kayaking, and scuba diving. Dr. Kingston also continues to enjoy mentoring young high school and college students who have an interest in pursuing a career in medicine.
