Christy T. Johnson-Oliver is a certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Radford University in Radford, Virginia, and Master of Science in nursing from Queens University of Charlotte-Presbyterian School of Nursing in Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her postgraduate certificate as a family nurse practitioner from South University in Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Johnson-Oliver began her career as a social work case manager and then transitioned into the nursing field, where she worked as a neonatal intensive care nursery registered nurse. Among her duties was providing patient care in a family-centered environment and leadership for new graduate nurses and nursing students. She also has experience as a nursing instructor, lecturing undergraduate students on topics such as pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing and community health care practices.
