Dr. Delfaus is one of the founding members of Commonwealth Neonatology and works primarily at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News as well as St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond. She has worked in general pediatrics and neonatology throughout the east coast including Henrico Doctor’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia Beach General Hospital, West Jersey Health System, Sentara Health Plans, Brunswick Pediatric Group in New Jersey and Memorial Sloan Kettering Institute for Cancer Research in New York.
She completed her residency and internship in pediatrics from Nassau County Medical Center in New York, received her Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan and a B.S. from Iona College in Rochelle, New York. Dr. Delfaus is fluent in Spanish.
