Dr. Vorenberg has been with Colon and Rectal Specialists since August 2009. He specializes in laparoscopic colon surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of intestinal and anorectal disorders. Areas of special focus include laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, da Vinci® robotic surgery, treatment of colon and rectal cancer, transanal minimally invasive surgery, surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders and screening colonoscopy.
Dr. Vorenberg is Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery as well as the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and a member with the Chesapeake Colorectal Society.
Dr. Vorenberg is a proctor for da Vinci. He teaches this advanced laparoscopic technique to physicians throughout the country.
