Caring for Your Newborn Class covers how baby communicates, sleep patterns, growth and development and how to adjust as a new family. Hands on practice and demonstrations will include how to bath, feed and diaper your baby.

A lactation consultant discusses breast function, nutrition, positioning, latch-on, feeding patterns, bottle feeding vs. breast feeding and partner support.
Infant and Child CPR
Class covers infant/child CPR and choking instruction using the American Heart Association Family and Friends curriculum and guidelines.
Infant Safety
Class covers safe sleep, car seat safety, when to call the doctor and other important topics such as taking baby’s temperature, diaper rash and navigating post-partum depression.
Childbirth Preparation Class
Childbirth Preparation: Instructor prepares expectant parents mentally and physically for labor and birth: recognizing labor, timing contractions, stages of labor, breathing and relaxation techniques, labor positions, medical interventions and anesthesia.
