Youth and Family Services
The Youth and Family Services department offers resources and services designed to assist West Baltimore residents in building strong foundations for the future. Our programs target expectant mothers, children and their families, youth and young adults, and women in need of basic services.
This department provides the following programs and services:
Early Head Start Though case management and wraparound support, our Early Head Start program supports parents in their role as caregivers and teachers of their children, assisting them in meeting their own personal goals across multiple domains including hosing stability, employment, and financial security. Our Early Head Start center underwent a full renovation in late 2021, and can now serve up to 75 children five days a week. |
Community Schools As a lead agency, Bon Secours Community Works employs Community School Coordinators who work within local schools to create a positive environment where academics, enrichment, family engagement, and community development contribute to improved student well-being and school outcomes. Community School Coordinators serve as a single access point to a host of supports including health and social services, housing assistance, food, job training for parents, and more.
