Biography

Dr. G. Vincent Dalton specializes in shoulder, hip and knee total joint replacement, and sports medicine. He graduated from Emory University and went on to medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He also served his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Dalton is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Dalton is performing surgeries with anterior hip replacement and standard posterior hip surgery. He performs standard and minimally invasive replacement of the knee; partial replacement of the knee, including the Oxford mobile bearing knee; and ACL reconstruction. Involving the shoulder, Dr. Dalton performs arthroscopic, rotator cuff and reconstructive surgery; partial shoulder replacement; and resurfacing shoulder replacement.

Dr. Dalton brings an athletic focus and a wealth of experience to his practice and sports medicine. As a long-time soccer player and youth soccer coach, he has a keen understanding of athletic injuries and the host of injuries that come with advanced age. He treats patients of all ages, including children, college athletes and senior citizens.
