Car Seat Instruction
KidSafe Zone staff advises callers about the proper use of car sears, refer callers to a child seat inspection station in the region and provide speaks for club or group meetings about safe car seat installation.
Care-A-Van
A mobile primary care health clinic which travels throughout the Richmond metro area providing free primary, urgent and preventive care, services include health screenings, immunizations, flu shots, school physicals and the examination and treatment of the uninsured.

Every Woman's Life provides breast and cervical cancer screenings for women 40-64 who meet certain financial criteria.

A non-profit and resource organization committed to helping parents with the challenges of raising healthy, happy children from infancy to adolescence, services include classes, workshops, consultations and the Speaker's Bureau.
Cross-Cultural Services
Bon Secours offers a wide range of services to the culturally diverse communities in the area, including advocacy, referrals, Medicaid/FAMIS, and programs such as parenting classes, survival English, mentoring and other life skills.
Exploring Health Careers
Hanover County high school students with an interest in health careers have the opportunity to work closely with experts in the field, including physicians, nurses, dieticians and others.
For Ladies Only
A mentoring program for middle school girls who need to develop positive decision-making abilities. In partnership with several other area organizations Bon Secours looks to prevent high-risk behavior among young women.
Health Insurance for Uninsured Children (FAMIS)
Bon Secours often assists low to moderate-income families whose children may qualify for state-supported insurance. Staff will assist patients in the enrollment process to begin their connection to good health.
Hospice
Hospice helps terminally ill patients and their families achieve the most out of life with caring volunteers working in a safe environment to provide comfort and palliative care.
Home Care
Home Care staff help to ease the transition from hospital to home by providing condition assessment, medical care monitoring, and patient education.
KidSafe Zone
Located at the Bon Secours Center for Family Health, the KidSafe Zone offers classes and activities to promote child safety and prevent accidents.

"Birth and Parenting Essentials" classes provided mostly free of charge to expecting parents and families at all Bon Secours hospitals.
Parenting Partners
Bon Secours partners in the Richmond metro areas that offer classes and series on specialized topics for expecting and new parents, classes offered include yoga, pilates, nursery decorating, music with your baby and more.
Nutrition Consultation Service
Available at The Nutrition Outpatient Center at St. Mary's trained consultants work with individuals to achieve general wellness or disease-specific goals.
Parish Nursing
A nursing specialty that builds on the skills of the registered nurse through additional training in holistic health services, incorporating concern for body, mind and spirit in a personal expression of healing ministry. Bon Secours supports over 80 parish nurses volunteering in churches and synagogues in the greater Richmond area.

Reach out and Read
This program aims to improve literacy in low-income areas by encouraging children and their parents to read. Children age 6 months to five years receive a free book when they visit the ER at Richmond Community or the Care-A-Van.

Focused on preventing childhood injuries, SAFE KIDS provides programs at area schools and businesses on bike and pedestrian safety, fire prevention, and home, sport and water safety.

A free, confidential community services the brings volunteers into client's homes to enhance the medical recovery period of people of all ages.
