Dr. Katz, regional
leader and nationally recognized cardiac surgeon, is the medical
director of the Heart and Vascular Institute and head of the Minimally
Invasive Surgery Program at Bon Secours Richmond Health System.
Dr. Katz specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, robotic assisted surgery, off-pump (beating heart) bypass surgery, surgery for congestive heart failure, placement of Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) and heart transplants.
