Joseph M. Karch, Jr., MD, PhD
Dr. Karch is a graduate of Villanova University. He completed a Master of Science degree, a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering, and a medical degree at the University of Virginia. He then completed an internship and a general surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Missouri, where he also served as a clinical instructor of surgery.
Dr. Karch specializes in laparoscopic abdominal surgery, including antireflex procedures, weight loss surgery, large and small bowel procedures, solid organs and complex hernias.
He is board certified in general surgery as well as in the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery.
