Dr. Bashir is board-certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is also a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist. Dr. Bashir’s Sleep training was performed at New Mexico Center for Sleep Medicine in Albuquerque, NM. His post graduate training also included: Pediatrics, Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY; Pediatric Pulmonology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center New York, NY; and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bashir practiced as a pediatric pulmonologist in Richmond, VA prior to joining Bon Secours Sleep Centers as a sleep medicine specialist in 2010.
