St. Francis Family Medicine
Dr. Roberts attended Mary Washington College for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and completed a Family Practice residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where he worked in the Sports Medicine Department and Urgent Care. Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Sherrod obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Hampden-Sydney College, where he played both football and tennis. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the VCU-Blackstone Program. After practicing for 20 years in Virginia, Dr. Sherrod was an attending physician at the University of North Carolina’s Department of Family Medicine where he established a sports health & injury clinic. Dr. Sherrod is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
