St. Francis Medical Center
St. Francis Medical Center is home to the Bon Secours Orthopaedic Institute. Completed in 2005, St. Francis is the first hospital built during the last two decades to serve communities south of the James River. This facility is thoroughly modern, featuring state-of-the-art medical equipment and treatments. The hospital staff is skilled and includes physicians, surgeons, nurses, therapists and other health care professionals.
When it comes to orthopaedic care, St. Francis does an outstanding job. Our surgeons perform almost 1,000 joint replacements annually. We also are well known for spine care, which relies on the latest techniques to reduce pain and promote healing. In fact, patients have come to rely on us whenever they require care for a wide range of orthopaedic conditions.
