Jean Curtacci, CNM

Ms. Curtacci received her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York College at Oswego and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing. Jean has over 10 years of experience in women’s health care and is a strong proponent of health promotion, disease prevention, patient education, informed decision making and practicing evidence-based health care.

Melanie Hartman, CNM

Ms. Hartman received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University. She practiced as a registered nurse in labor and delivery for seven years and then went on to midwifery. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Certificate of Nurse-Midwifery from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. After practicing as a nurse-midwife in California, she returned to her home state of Virginia. Ms. Hartman has a passion for providing quality, individualized health care for women across their lifespan and is excited to serve families in the Richmond community.

James Marquardt, MD, FACOG

Dr. Marquardt attended Cornell University for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency from the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Marquardt is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of ACOG.

Prior to joining Bon Secours Medical Group, Dr. Marquardt was in private practice for 18 years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Boston academic medical center. For the last 7 years, he also was the medical director of South Shore Midwifery, a collaborative practice with five nurse-midwives at a suburban Boston medical center.

Charles A. Miller, MD, FACOG

Dr. Miller is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where he has most recently served as Assistant Director of the OB-Gyn Residency Program. He has also worked in family practice and urgent care environments.

Jennifer Walker, CNM

Ms. Walker received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Utah Valley University. She received her master’s degree as a certified nurse-midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner from the University of Utah College of Nursing. Ms. Walker enjoys working with families in the birth setting. One of her primary goals is to help women at all stages of their lives achieve their greatest level of health and wellness.

Brenda Radford, CNM

Mrs. Radford attended the College of St. Catherine Minnesota for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University and a Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from Shenandoah University. In addition, Mrs. Radford is a board certified lactation consultant. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, camping and cycling.
