Dr. Abhishek received his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences located in Delhi, India, and completed his internal medicine residency from Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va. He also finished a fellowship in hematology and oncology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Mo. Before starting his training in hematology and oncology, he worked as a clinical instructor and hospitalist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and Chippenham Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va. Dr. Abhishek enjoys taking care of patients with cancer, as well as diseases related to hemostasis and thrombosis. Dr. Abhishek is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
Jana attended Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. Jana is a lifelong resident of Hanover County who enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her Wahoos.
Dr. Steinberg attended City College of New York for his undergraduate training and graduated with a BS with a major in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from New York University and a PhD in Pharmacology from NYU Graduate School. He completed a medical internship and residency and part of his Hematology Fellowship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU. He then served in the United States Army Medical Corps and was stationed at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and completed his Hematology Fellowship at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He then completed a Medical Oncology Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Steinberg is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
