Dr. Hollings attended Howard University College of Arts and Sciences for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Hollings is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valerie South, a women’s health nurse practitioner, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University and her Master of Science WHNP degree from MCV-VCU School of Nursing. Mrs. South has practiced women’s health care in the Richmond area for more than 25 years and provides care to women across their life spans. In addition to being a nurse practitioner, Mrs. South is also a certified childbirth educator, lactation educator and was a contributing author to a graduate nursing education textbook in providing normal and complicated obstetrical care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved Westie dog, Kirby. While reading and cross-stitching are favorites in her free time, she has traveled extensively in the United States, Europe and Asia.
