Dr. Jackson is board certified in general surgery. She received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, New Jersey, and performed her residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital, Department of Surgery, in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Jackson was in private practice in southeastern Louisiana for three years prior to relocating to Central Virginia. Her professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons.
Dr. Karch is a graduate of Villanova University. He completed a Master of Science degree, a doctorate in biomedical engineering, and a medical degree at the University of Virginia. He then completed an internship and a general surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Missouri, where he also served as a clinical instructor of surgery.
Dr. Karch specializes in laparoscopic abdominal surgery, including anti-reflux procedures, weight loss surgery, large and small bowel procedures, solid organs and complex hernias. He is board certified in general surgery as well as in the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery.
