Dr. Gary R. Zeevi is the medical director of Bon Secours Advanced Heart Failure Center and specializes in providing advanced treatment options for patients diagnosed with heart failure. Dr. Zeevi received his medical degree from Yale University. He then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed fellowships in cardiology with cardiac catheterization and a separate fellowship in interventional procedures, all at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, cardiovascular disease, heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Zeevi has published a number of professional journal articles and has sat on the board of directors for the Richmond Chapter of the American Heart Association and currently is on the board of directors of the Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services. He is a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Heart Failure Society of America and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. He was the first cardiologist in Richmond to receive board certification in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
