This was my first visit with Dr SelvaKumar for my son and I could not be more impressed by his bedside manner. From the moment he walked In and greeted himself I could instantly tell he genuinely loves what he does. Eventho I am a nurse, he spoke to me as a mother and not as a nurse which I not only appreciated but respected. Dr SelvaKumar sat down and listened to my concerns, came up with a game plan that he felt was appropriate to my child's needs after his examination and explained everything perfectly. He made sure that before the visit was done that I as the mother had a good understanding of everything, was comfortable with his plan and in agreement. At no point did I feel rushed during my son's appointment which I also appreciated as I did not have a good experience a year prior with a different physician. I was recommended to Dr SelvaKumar by not only my sons new pediatrician but by several friends who have had their children as patients of his. He came with high regards by my fellow mom friends and nurse/CRNA friends. I left feeling as though my concerns regarding my son's constipation issues he's had since birth were finally being heard. Dr SelvaKumar also interacted so wonderfully with my toddler. I have full confidence that he is going to help my son feel better with his chronic constipation.Show less

As my child would say, "he is the GOAT!" you couldn't ask for a better doctor. He listens to your child and explains things in a way we can understand. His bedside manner is by far the best I have ever seen from any doctor.Show less
