All Bon Secours hospitals offer 24-hour, state-of-the-art emergency care services. And for the more than 20,000 children's emergency visits at our four hospitals every year, our staff provides the latest treatments for pediatric emergency situations. Our staff members, board-certified emergency medicine physicians, and trauma surgeons are specially trained professionals who keep abreast of the latest emergency treatment protocols for infants, children, and adolescents. Together, we work to reduce the stress and anxiety that bringing your child to the Emergency Department can cause.
The West End’s Only
St. Mary’s Hospital has the West End’s only dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department. It is staffed by board-certified physicians trained in pediatric emergency medicine, and offers age-appropriate medical equipment and supplies for infants, children, and young adults. St. Mary's also has pediatric subspecialists on staff and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit should it become necessary.
