St. Mary’s to Share Results of Planning Charrette with Neighbors

Hospital officials will outline details for community

What: Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital will share the results of last fall’s charrette and outline recommendations for a new master site plan that will guide the next 10, 20 and 50 years of growth and development of its hospital campus.
 
The meeting is open to the public and will take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 16, in the St. Mary’s Hospital Auditorium, 5801 Bremo Road.
 
The master site plan and its findings are the result of a weeklong Charrette, held in November 2009, which sought input from Bon Secours administration, employees and medical staff, along with neighbors, community leaders and Henrico County and City of Richmond officials.
 
Through visual design renderings and discussions with hospital leaders, the public can learn more about the master site plan, which shows how the St. Mary’s campus can accommodate:

--More clinical space, beds and medical office space
--Parking/public spaces
--Enhancing the esthetic look of the campus buildings and grounds
