Mission Statement
To provide compassionate, quality healthcare services to those in need, including the poor and dying, for the purpose of alleviating human suffering and bringing people to wholeness in the midst of pain and loss.

Good Education

Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing teaches the profession as both an art and a science.

Library

The Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing Library provides customer-centered service in the provision of best information sources and in support of the spirit of inquiry.

The Library collection consists of current subscriptions to over 60 print nursing journals, a current and broad collection of professional nursing texts, and access to several databases of professional literature. As part of the greater Bon Secours Richmond Health System, the Library shares resources with not only our local and regional Bon Secours facilities, but those throughout the nation, as it participates in the National Library of Medicine’s interlibrary loan program.

Our nursing students and faculty benefit from 16 computer stations for individual research and writing, and a small side room for group or silent studying purposes.
