Memorial Regional Medical Center 2013 Summer Student Program
The Memorial Regional Medical Center (MRMC) Volunteer Services Summer Student program is a selective program that provides an opportunity for students, age 16 and older, to receive experience working in a health care environment. Students will commit to 50 or 100 hours of service during the summer months and receive potential career awareness and work environment experience. This is an unpaid internship. Student interns will perform volunteer service in a variety of placements to obtain exposure in a number of areas within the hospital setting. For further information, please e-mail the Director robert_herndon@bshsi.org.
UPDATE June 4, 2013: Our initial deadline has passed. Student applications received from this point forward will be considered on an “as needed” basis and volunteer service would not begin until after July 8th. A minimum of 50 hours and service through August 30th would be expected.
