Patients are seen by appointment. In most circumstances, we can accommodate same day appointments.
In order to provide you with the best possible care, we need the most up-to-date information about you. Please remember to bring your insurance card and a list of all medications you are taking.
Insurance and Payment Information
We accept most insurance plans including Medicare. Many plans require that you make a co-payment at the time of your visit.
For self-pay patients, payment is expected in full at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, VISA and MasterCard.

Phil Sherrod, M.D. Dr. Sherrod is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Sherrod is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He is a native of Virginia and practices for 20 years at a rural family practice, then went to the University of North Carolina’s Department of Family Medicine where he established a Sports Health & Injury Clinic. Dr. Sherrod enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his grandchildren. |

Paul Jackson, M.D. Dr. Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Jackson serves as the Director of the Residency Program. He enjoys history, running, gardening and reading mysteries. |

Glenna Hendricks, M.D. Dr. Hendricks is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. During her residency, Dr. Hendricks received several awards including Resident of the Year, Resident Humanitarian Award and Resident Research Award. Dr. Hendrick’s is board certified in obstetrics-gynecology and family medicine, which allows her to care for women and their families. Away from the office, Dr. Hendricks enjoys spending time with her three dogs and one cat, sewing, quilting and swimming. |

Douglas Okay, M.D. Dr. Okay attended Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmittsburg, MD for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Dr. Okay was a fellow in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. |
