When you’re hurt or sick, you want help fast. That’s why once again, Bon Secours is proud to bring you the best quality of service with our No Wait emergency care.
“We implemented the No Wait effort in December and to date, the average patient is treated within five minutes of arrival,” said Dr. Robert Powell, medical director of the St. Mary’s emergency department. “We’re at the point where we don’t have to place the word ‘guarantee’ on our service. It’s happening and the patients see the difference.”
Our team cares for patients of all ages, with physicians, nurses and physicians assistants or nurse practitioners on duty 24-hours a day.
Check in at any one of our emergency care facilities and a member of our healthcare team will see you right away. Your needs will be reviewed, and then, you will be directed to the highest quality care possible.
We use the latest digital diagnostic tools, and we’re open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to provide care for patients of all ages.
We are committed to providing the highest quality care for all of our patients, and we will make your time with us as comfortable as possible. Whether the problem is a sprained ankle or a life-threatening heart attack, the Bon Secours Emergency Department team responds quickly and provides Good Help to Those in Need®.
“The adoption of a No Wait Emergency Department makes a big impact on the quality of care we deliver. By putting the patient in contact with the health care provider in rapid fashion, we improve the patient’s overall experience while decreasing the risks associated with unnecessary delays,” said Dr. Stacy Williams, medical director of the Richmond Community’s emergency department. “Our patients notice the changes and have been quite candid in expressing their appreciation of the new process.”
